# About Radon Mitigation Des Moines

Ten years of radon testing and mitigation for Central Iowa homes and small businesses, from a small office in Franklin Plaza, Des Moines.

## Our Story

Ryan Coleman founded Radon Mitigation Des Moines on March 6, 2016. The idea was simple: every county in Iowa is in EPA Radon Zone 1, and families deserved a radon company that would give them straight answers and do the work right.

In 2026 we celebrated our 10th anniversary of serving Central Iowa residents and small businesses. Today we test and install across 12 counties, from Polk and Dallas to Story, Marion and Jasper.

Our systems deliver up to 98.9% radon reduction, and homes that tested above 4.0 pCi/L are routinely brought below 1.0 pCi/L. Every system and install carries a 5-year warranty, and our phone is answered 24/7.
