Ryan Coleman founded Radon Mitigation Des Moines on March 6, 2016. The idea was simple: every county in Iowa is in EPA Radon Zone 1, and families deserved a radon company that would give them straight answers and do the work right.
In 2026 we celebrated our 10th anniversary of serving Central Iowa residents and small businesses. Today we test and install across 12 counties, from Polk and Dallas to Story, Marion and Jasper.
Our systems deliver up to 98.9% radon reduction, and homes that tested above 4.0 pCi/L are routinely brought below 1.0 pCi/L. Every system and install carries a 5-year warranty, and our phone is answered 24/7.

Ryan Coleman founded Radon Mitigation Des Moines in March 2016 and has spent 10 years helping Central Iowa families test for and reduce radon. He connects homeowners with Iowa HHS-credentialed technicians from the company's Franklin Plaza office in Des Moines.
Director of Operations
Eddie Gilroy runs field operations at Radon Mitigation Des Moines, and handles the scheduling and dispatching of our network technician partners.

Hillary Jennings handles customer support, helping homeowners, buyers and agents book tests and installs and get answers to their questions.
