Radon Test Result Checker
Enter your radon test result to see how it compares with EPA and WHO guidance and how much reduction would bring it below 1.0 pCi/L.

Short-term tests are the standard for home sales. If your result is close to 4.0 and there is no deadline, a follow-up test can help confirm it.
Educational estimate only. One short-term test may not reflect your long-term average. Not medical advice; follow EPA guidance and confirm with a credentialed professional.

How the Result Checker Works
Compares your result to the EPA action level (4.0 pCi/L) and the WHO reference level (2.7 pCi/L), then works out the percent reduction needed to reach your goal.
The EPA recommends fixing your home if radon is 4.0 pCi/L or higher, and suggests considering a fix between 2.0 and 4.0. The World Health Organization uses a lower reference level of about 2.7 pCi/L (100 Bq/m³).
The reduction figure shows how much of your current radon would need to be removed to reach your goal. A properly designed sub-slab depressurization system can reach up to 98.9% reduction. Your post-mitigation clearance test confirms the real number.
